Donald Trump Putting Together Task Force To Investigate The Clinton Foundation Is Fake News

Trump_&_Clinton

President Donald Trump assembling the greatest task force ever to investigate the Clinton Foundation is fake news. There is no truth to a report that Trump put together a team to investigate Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Foundation. The team allegedly would be made up of Congressman Trey Gowdy, Sheriff Richard Clark and Judge Jeanine Pirro. Where did this fake news originate?

America’s Last Line of Defense published the article on July 14, 2017, reporting that Trump put together this great task force to investigate the Clinton Foundation. You can read the fake story below.

President Trump’s office made three phone calls this morning to recruit a top-notch team of independent, unbiased investigators to look into the Clinton Foundation’s involvement with drug smuggling, human trafficking and support for terrorism connected to the fleet of cargo ships they used to move their supplies across the globe.

First, he called Congressman Trey Gowdy to lead the investigation because of his superior skills at seeing through partisan crap. Next, he called Sheriff Richard Clark, who immediately accepted and resigned from his position in Cleveland.

Last — but certainly not least — he added a voice with a ton of experience telling the public the truth and an entire career enforcing the laws of our nation, Judge Jeanine Pirro. Judge Pirro, says WHOIP Director Jeff Derpinger-Smith, will add a flare that the real news networks like Fox and real news publications like Breitbart:

“Who isn’t tired of watching Whoopi Goldberg give her opinion to some feminist who doesn’t care what happens in the real world? These women think because they have vaginas that they deserve to make more money and make all of our choices. Sorry, ladies. We’re giving the world Judge Jeanine.”

The three will embark on a fact-finding mission to find out exactly who owned what, who knew what and who profited from the spread of drugs, crime, refugees and terrorism.

However, there was no truth to this story as no major media outlet has reported on Trump’s pursuit of an investigation into the Clinton Foundation. Certainly, there would have been breaking news if this were really happening. Instead, the story originated with the clickbait fake news site “America’s Last Line of Defense.” Last Line of Defense’s disclaimer states:

DISCLAIMER: America’s Last Line of Defense is a satirical publication that uses the imagination of liberals to expose the extreme bigotry and hate and subsequent blind gullibility that festers in right-wing nutjobs. We present fiction as fact and our sources don’t actually exist. Names that represent actual people and places are purely coincidental and all images should be considered altered and do not in any way depict reality.

Trump did call the Clinton Foundation “a criminal enterprise” during one of the presidential debates.

“Saudi Arabia given $25 million, Qatar, all of these countries. You talk about women and women’s rights? These are people that push gays off business, off buildings. These are people that kill women and treat women horribly and yet you take their money. So I’d like to ask you right now why don’t you give back the money that you’ve taken from certain countries that treat certain groups of people so horribly? I think it would be a great gesture because she takes a tremendous amount of money. You take a look at the people of Haiti. I was in little Haiti the other day in Florida, and I want to tell you they hate the Clintons because what’s happened in Haiti with the Clinton Foundation is a disgrace.”

So, whether Trump eventually pursues an investigation will remain to be seen. As of right now, there is no truth to a story that Trump has put together a great team to investigation the Clinton Foundation.
