10 Powerful Ways To Get Your Brand Noticed Online

Did you know that 72% of marketers worldwide said that relevant content creation was the most effective tactic?

Getting noticed by your target audience online can be extremely challenging, especially as a small business competing with larger companies that have already built trust and credibility online.

I want to share with you 10 powerful ways you can get your brand noticed online, as well as a very special “challenge” I am going to be running from the 1st August that will help you build your brand online through the tools that I have personally used to grow my business.

So, here are 10 ways you can get your brand noticed online.

1. Strong Branding

Since launching Think Digital First, I have understood the importance of having strong branding for my business. I have also gone through a number of re-brandings for the Warren Knight side of my business.

To get your brand noticed online, you need a logo that represents your business, and connects with your target audience. Think about what certain colours mean when designing your logo, as well as fonts.

2. Influencer Marketing

With 75% of marketers using influencer marketing, it shows that it is a great way to get your brand noticed online.

The idea is to have people who are influential online spread the message about your business for you. This type of marketing can be in the form of blogger reviews, Social Media posts, endorsements and various other forms of content. If you are going to go down the route of influencer marketing, think about having a story to tell, setting expectations and starting small.

To read more on influencer marketing, take a look at previous article I wrote here.

3. Strong Website Presence

For you to get your brand noticed online, you do need to have a strong website presence. If you are a start-up business, you can always create a simple landing page to get you started and if you don’t have the money to create an out-of-the-box website, consider the likes of WordPress, SquareSpace and Wix.

I recently wrote an article about the best ways to generate leads through your website, which you can read here.

4. Email Marketing Strategy

For me, email marketing is one of the best ways to turn prospects into customers, and get my brand noticed online.

Part of my email marketing strategy is to run what is called an automation where by someone receives a series of emails to build trust and credibility before deciding to purchase a product/service.

Building a long-term relationship is key, so send emails out on a consistent basis talking about ways in which they can engage with you online through webinars, live-streams, and free guides.

5. Sharing Content Online

Having a blog is something that most small businesses must now have on their website as a way of providing their customers with more than just products/services for them to buy.

Creating content has been an amazing way for me to engage with my audience, and generate leads and it can be for you too when looking at writing content. The first step is of course, writing content, but then you need to share this content to get your brand noticed online.

The more content you write, the more content you have to share and this in turn, will increase engagement, and build your brand.

6. Social Media Contests

What if I told you that you could generate a 35% increase in social media followers, as well as hundreds of leads by running a Social Media Contest? Would it be worth your time?

For your business to be a success online, you need to generate leads which turn into sales. One of the most effective ways to do this is through a social media competition or contest. I had a client just last year generate 2,700 leads and thousands of pounds in sales just from spending £100 running a Social Media competition over the course of 5 days.

7. Live Streaming

When it comes to live-streaming, there is one social network in particular that I use to get my brand noticed online.

Facebook Live is an amazing way to connect with your target audience through the power of not only video, but LIVE video. Real-time interaction is one of the best ways to build an authentic audience, and to tell your story online.

8. Tell A Story

To increase your engagement online; get personal. People are driven by their emotions whether it be anger, joy, interest or admiration. For every blog and social media post you write, tap into an emotion and tell a story which connects with your target audience. People buy from people and as a small business, this is an amazing way to build credibility and get your brand noticed online.

9. Run Webinars

I have delivered over 200 webinars, and generated 1000’s of leads that have converted into a six-figure profit. Webinars are (for me) one of the best ways to build brand awareness, and position myself as an expert in my industry. This, in turn, generates leads which turn not only into paying customers, but repeat customers.

10. Engage, Engage and Engage

Regardless of whether this is inside of a Facebook, Twitter, on a webinar or in person, you need to stay as engaged as possible. Think about how you interact with your audience and keep it personal, and as consistent as possible. Acknowledge every single comment/share in a timely manner and ask as many questions from you audience as possible, as this can give you a 162% increase in interactions.

I hope that my above 10 ways will help you get your brand noticed online, but there is one thing I didn’t touch on, and that is tools and technology.
